What we hold

Your business details and contact details, the script you write, and the calls we answer for you. A call means the caller number, the time, the written message, a transcript and, if you have recording switched on, the audio.

Why we hold it

To answer your phone and give you the message. That is the whole reason. We do not sell it, we do not pass it to advertisers, and we do not use your calls to train models.

How long

Messages and transcripts stay while your account is open. Recordings are kept for the period you choose in your account and are deleted automatically after it. You can delete any recording yourself at any time, and you can turn recording off completely.

Your callers

When recording is on, callers are told at the start of the call. You are the controller of your callers data and PhoneAnswering.uk processes it for you.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@phoneanswering.uk and we will do it within thirty days, usually the same week.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third party tracking scripts. If that ever changes you will be asked first.
